| -4- Minute No.13. Easy Brake Adjustment. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} enquired regarding Easy Brake Adjustment. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said that this was a modification which really did give the customer some advantage and it was agreed to fit the modification on 'T' Series. Minute No.14. Backed off Second Speed dogs. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} referred to backed off second speed dogs and it was pointed out that this improvement will be on 'S.2.' Series. Minute No15. Second speed synchromesh. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} enquired regarding the possibility of adopting the second speed synchromesh at an early date. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} replied that it is not possible to say when this device will be ready for standardisation. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} said that a gearbox for experimental purposes would be completed by the end of June and much depends on the results of tests with this particular box. He said that it may be possible to adopt the second speed synchromesh during the production of 'T' series if all went well and he proposed holding up the second 50 sets of 'T' Series gearboxes so that the second speed synchromesh may be adopted quickly if the experimental tests prove to be satisfactory. 20/25 H.P.
