To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X7772. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/WJ.9.4.30. SECOND LEFT-HAND CHASSIS SUBFRAME MOUNTING. This is to confirm our conversation today that we will use the front subframe type of mounting at the centre of the chassis where at present we have metal to metal contact. Some means should be provided for a small amount of lateral and vertical adjustment of this support so that the body can be lined up as at present. We do not think there should be any great difficulty about this. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
