86116 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.9/MA. 19th September, 1934. W.D.Kilroy, Esq., Lane End, Everton, Nr.Lymington, HANTS. Dear Sir, We thank you for your letter of the 4th instant and regret the delay in our replying to the same. Whilst we agree that you scheme is quite ingenious we must admit that it would add weight to the lamp assembly when at the moment we are pressing manufacturers to reduce the weight of their lamps to a minimum. Secondly we have not received any request from our customers for such a contrivance. We will however bear your scheme in mind and if at any time there is a demand for this kind of thing no doubt you will here further from us. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
