We trust you will regard what we have said about our negotiations with Mr.Kilroy as confidential but you may rest assured that the matter has been gone into very carefully at this end and if we could have seen the slightest possibility of being able to develop a proposition out of this idea which would be acceptable to yourselves, we should not have acted as we have done.
