Valves & Tappets. E.13893. Valve Tappet.

Add hardening marks H, and note re depth to agree with remainder of chassis C.H.N.S. pieces.

Carburetter. E.3313 - Throttle Body.

Works have 60 pieces machined .050 to .070 undersize from centre line to face of the two bosses for the Throttle Lever Bracket. (1.500±5 on drawing). Permission is required to fit washers between Body and Bracket to make up this amount, and save the castings from being scrapped.

Water Pump. T.2467/8 - Front & Rear Casings.

Alter limit on .950 dimension from centre line to face of lubricator boss from -50 to +50. Alter limit on 1.375 dimension from joint face to centre line of lubricator tapping from ±5 to ±25, to prevent breaking through side of casings when facing this boss.
Note "Face .700±10 dia" to be added.

"Eagle" Epicyclic Gear. G.6405 - Sunwheel Anchor Ring
G.6392 - Gear Box Housing.

The addition of marking table for special eccentricities varying from .0125 to .0175, so that markings on any one set give the actual eccentricities produced by these pieces.

Pressure Feed Pump. E.5207 - Piston.

Alter limit on 1.150 dimension from back of piston to face of gudgeon pin boss from +10 to -15. Dimension .100±10 from front of piston to gudgeon pin boss to be deleted, and dimension 1.1550±15 added to the back of piston.

Works' request to give increased thickness of metal in gudgeon pin boss and prevent distortion when drilling and reaming gudgeon pin hole.

Starting Handle. E.2722 - Shield.

It is proposed to reduce the radius of the circular wall of metal next to the flange from 4.375 to 4.300, to give ample clearance for the .600 dia. spot face at the boltholes necessary to take the .950 dia. washers.
Note "Face .600±10 dia" should be added to the drawing.
Existing dimensions allows of no latitude for oversize or distorted castings without cutting into this wall of metal.
