I would like to say that I am very pleased with the application of this apparatus, and think it would be very satisfactory to have both magneto and battery ignition supplied by the American Bosch Company. The battery ignition should be run by our experimental department for some time to see whether all the parts are thoroughly reliable, and for this reason we asked you in our recent cablegram to send us three more sets of the most up-to-date equipment.

We are very anxious that the whole of our units, whether purchased or otherwise, shall be high class, and exclusively used on R.R. cars, otherwise we shall drop into the general rut, and not be able to demand the high price we can and must charge for our productions.

We should think it would be as well to get one of these two people to make you a suitable locked switchbox. What we saw of the one on 4 EX, we doubted if the Westinghouse Company make a sufficiently nice looking, reliable and elegant fitting. Personally, I think you would get the best looking switch from the Bosch Company, who appear to be able manufacturers in as much as the workmanship seems accurate and SEX the finish good. X

In conclusion, I very much regret that the earlier work the Bosch Company supplied, namely, a dynamo, magnetos etc. gave
