S/W. To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to Nor. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Ex. c. to Whr.{Mr Wheeler} RECEIVED JUL 24 1930 Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}6/D23.7.30. Re: Alteration to Bonnet and Dash. I am in receipt of BY/Cgh.{W Clough}18/W.22.7.30. Everyone concerned has approved of the alteration in question and in this case it is one of appearance as distinct from a technical modification. If, therefore, there is any risk of delay being caused by waiting for the completion of the standardisation sheet we can agree in this instance to the material being ordered without waiting for the sheet to be completed. The same remarks also apply to the instrument board modifications which were inspected on the Second Experimental Left-hand P.2 Car No. 25-EX, the introduction of which was referred to in Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/D18.7.30 and BY/Ogh5/W21.7.30. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
