Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} NOV 9 1922 To Ey. from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to C.J. c. to Or. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ✓ ORIGINAL Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M8.6.22. RE GOSHAWK FLOOR-BOARDS. X4270 We send herewith N.sch. 1293 shewing the revised "D" type floor boards to overcome the objections as to difficulty of withdrawing the sloping board raised against the first type. It will be seen that it is still proposed to remove the sloping board first, but it has been re-arranged so that it will swivel about a point nearer the curve of the pedal stem and so not require any elongation of the slots. In addition to this the pieces surrounding the change speed and brake lever have been re-arranged so as to make them neater and easy to fit. We are not sure that the angle strip and brackets shewn fitted to the rearmost board are really necessary, and suggest that they should only be fitted if required.
