| To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}6/KT.20.10.33. SERVO COUNTERSHAFT. We have fitted a plug in the housing of the countershaft at either end to prevent oil working along the shaft and being blown back on to the servo. This scheme has been successful on 1.B.IV. in France. We recommend fitting it to production cars, 20/25 & Bensport. We have shewn BY/TWD.{T. W. D???Aeith} exactly how the plugs were arranged as no drawing of the scheme is in existance. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
