THE BRISTOL AEROPLANE COMPANY LTD SIR G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} STANLEY WHITE, BT{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} (MANAGING DIRECTOR.) FILTON HOUSE, BRISTOL, ENG. YOUR REF. ENGINES F/HCM-8. OUR REF. 5th November 1934. W.A.Robotham Esq, Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd, Derby. My dear Robotham, Very many thanks for your letter of the 22nd October answering in detail the various criticisms I gave on my Bentley car. The wheel wobble has become more pronounced, and I am afraid I do not agree with your diagnosis of it, and am of the opinion that the trouble is more deep seated than I gather you think it is from your letter of the 22nd October, but all I want to do, is to have the job cured. I saw Mr Sidgreaves on Friday last, the 2nd instant, and he said he would like me to send the car up to Derby, and I have written to him suggesting that I will do so on Tuesday, November 20th, when I am going over to Paris. I naturally realise it is no good sending the car up for a day or two, and should be prepared to leave it with you for a fortnight or three weeks, if you think the various matters could be dealt with in this period. Yours sincerely A.{Mr Adams} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Fedden. | ||
