Referring to your BJ/Py13/D31.7.23. The failure of the Bendix Starter Pinion has been taken up with R.{Sir Henry Royce}

When I was last at W.W. we discussed schemes for modifying existing cars.

The type of Starter Pinion which failed on chassis 44-G-2 was condemned sometime ago. All 20 HP. chassis from No.301 are fitted with the improved Bijur Starter Pinion.
