Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ.9.1.34. SPRINGS FOR BENTLEY CAR. We have run a 10,000 miles test in France on Firths springs on Peregrine 11 car. These springs are the same for length and size as the present Bentley. Comparative tests were made on a further 10,000 miles test with Woodhead springs. Both gave the same degree of reliability and therefore we consider there is no reason whatever for changing over to Firths springs on Bentley chassis. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
