Dear Sirs,

Anticipating that there may be legislation in the near future on the control of light from motor headlight plates so as to ensure the re-direction of the rays we are preparing to put a specially designed Glass Reflector Plate on the market.

The design of this is such that the upper rays are redirected along the ground, so that in addition to giving a good driving light there is none of the harmfull effects so far as glare is concerned to the pedestrian or opposite driver.

It would be a convenience to us in the way of standardising such a plate if we might have the dimensions of the lanterns which you are using in your existing model machine and the dimension involved in any lantern alterations which you may contemplate making for the model likely to be used in the immediate future.

If the subject is of interest to you, we will be glad to have the information in question, together with any further remarks you may have to make.

Yours faithfully,
