Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter dated the 11th instant, in further reference to the sample tee hose connection recently submitted to you for your inspection and we note that you do not find the sample entirely satisfactory for your requirements.

As explained in previous correspondence we had difficulty in preparing the shaper for this part and were compelled to make several alterations to the plant before the sample could be satisfactorily manufactured.

As you are requiring a further hose connection for an experimental Chassis we are preparing a further sample similar to the one already submitted to you and although we cannot post this to you before closing down for the holidays we shall certainly send it on to you as soon as possible after we re-open on Tuesday next.

The criticisms mentioned in your letter are having our further consideration and if at all possible we shall submit a further sample to you at the earliest possible moment.

Yours faithfully
FOR THE COMPANY
