Spring Loaded Valve I might say, in passing, that I have got two hand-controlled shock absorbers now on the back of my Bentley and I do not find any great amount of effort is required to alter the setting. It is certainly harder towards the hard point, but this can be overcome by a spring on any of the levers arranged so that the pull does not affect the lever on the light side and comes into action only when the lever has passed the two spring centres as per enclosed sketch. Your valve, however, should overcome any necessity to use a valve, and looks a very simple outfit. I might say that the adjustable spring-loaded valve dampers on the back of my Bentley has improved it tremendously. Yours sincerely, p.p. THE GORDON ARMSTRONG PATENT SUSPENSION CO.LTD.
