Replying to Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}6/IH.4.7.39., if the present carburetter air cleaner is kept on the car it should be cleaned at least every 2,000 miles.
The second possibility is to fit an Air Maze Oil Bath, which would mean getting one specially made to suit a Wraith engine.
In any case, we do not advise a sand-proof gauze at the back of the radiator, but there will be no difficulty in fitting additional undersheets to keep the engine cleaner.
