ENCLO. Sketch
For attention of Mr. Robotham.
Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
Expl. Dept. Derby.
Dear Sirs,
We are in receipt of your favour of the 13th inst., marked for the attention of Major Searight, but as he is away at the present moment the undersigned is attending to your requirements.
We note that you would like us to send two Telegages incorporating pressure balance similar to the gauge supplied for Mr. Royce's 20 H.P. car, but for use on 40/50 H.P. models which are at present fitted with the standard type of gauge.
We beg to point out, however, that it will be necessary to modify the present opening in the petrol tank which accommodates the tank unit, as the unit arranged with pressure balance embodies a special cast top plate
