Agents shewing what speeds might reasonably be expected on the road with the given area and weight of car; and also the approximate time and distance which would be taken up in arriving at any definite speed conditions over a straight dry road and no wind.

The road between Harrogate and Leeds is fairly fast, but I could with difficulty run at over 60 m.p.h. Once on the Newmarket road I was able to run at 72 m.p.h when testing the car, but I felt that Mr. Cliff's man did not credit this latter statement.

On Saturday the 26th inst. I attended to Office matters.
