- 2 - 8th July 1938. a practical point of view it will probably be his last and that is why he was tempted to waste your time (to the extent of forgetting the drink that one E.H.Watts had offered, and being cast in the mould of a German jew he forgot to ask you to lunch. Please accept his apologies. I wonder if the aforementioned Alan has any inclination to waste any more time over the generation (the fathers of which were great friends) if so, he might ask you to bend the colossal mind and give him some more advice.
