RE. AMERICAN ALTERATIONS.

With reference to R's memos. in connection with the above. The following is a list of Items which we are expecting you to issue instructions and for us to carry out tests before we issue standardisation sheets.

1. Increased fineness of lock on Camshaft nut.
2. The Fan Drive Cowl and Starting Handle carrier in one piece.
3. Hess Bright double row bearings in torque tube.
4. Fabric disc Magneto Drive.
5. Rustless steel water pump spindle.
6. Governor Drive without thrust bearings.
7. Spray chamber with low speed jet tube combined.
8. Pinned valve tappets.
9. Float needle in stainless steel.
10. Rustless steel change speed lever.
11. Carburetter floats in non-corrosive alloy.
12. Cancelling brake spring bracket on axle and fixing spring to brake shaft bracket.
13. Lock washer for control bell crank pivot rosette nut on crankcase.
14. Omitting serrations on gear box side shaft for distance bush.
15. Steering column thrust bore enlarged.
16. Pressed diagonal stay for gas tank without bronze bush.
