c. to ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} +4050 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}6/LG. Expl: Dept: 25th. April 1929. Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, For the attention of W.Bond Esq. We thank you for your letter of the 24th.inst. The two points which are of interest to us are : (1) The rolling circumference of the tyre. (2) Its effect upon the steering of the car. As a preliminary we should like to try 4 7" tyres for the 20" rims, and 4 7" tyres for the 21" rims. This will enable us to gain some idea of the further tyres we shall require for our tests. Therefore will you please let us have these 8 sample tyres at your earliest convenience. We presume you will let us have these first tyres free of charge. Yours faithfully, | ||
