It may be necessary from time to time for any of the chief officials of the Company to go abroad on the Company's business. During their absence matters may arise in which we should be glad of their assistance or advice. If they are returning at an early date, it might be worth while to leave the matter in abeyance until their return. On the other hand, if they are likely to remain abroad, it might be desirable to refer the matter to them at their foreign address. In the event of any official being abroad, they should please keep the Administration advised every few days, how long they expect to be at any particular address, or where letters or telegrams should be sent to them during the following few days. Also on what date they expect to return. If they do not know the date of their return until the time they are actually leaving, then they should please telegraph to the Administration that they are leaving and when they expect to be in London. The Administration can then arrange for such information to be passed to the Works or others concerned. CJ. | ||
