Messrs. Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd.,
Fort Dunlop,
Erdington,
BIRMINGHAM.

For the attention of Mr.H.E.Price.

Dear Sirs,

We send you herewith drawings GB.3872/3/4/5 of a 5 x 16 steel wheel. Can you make a small number of these from the tools you are using for the 4 1/2 x 16 wheel. Will you please let us have a quotation for 10 such wheels.

As regards the tyre sizes we are now using, can you send us rolling resistance curves for 7 x 18 and 6 1/2 x 17 tyres at 25, 30 and 35 lbs/sq.in., and at various speeds up to 80 m.p.h.

If you are in a position to send us figures for the efficiency of power transmission of these tyres we should like to have them. We should also like to know the relative transmission efficiency when driving on the road as opposed to a 48" dia. dynamometer drum.

Hoping you can send us this information,

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
