Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of C.H.Grylls, Esq. 11th August, 1938. Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 10th August, we would mention that it would not be possible to produce 5.00x16 Disc wheels, GB.3874, from the tools which we are preparing for the 4.50x16 wheels, as the well depth of the two rims is different and the diameter of the centre pressing varies accordingly. We are, however, investigating the most economical way of meeting your requirements and hope to be in a position to write you again within the next day or so. Meanwhile, the information you require on 6.50-17 and 7.00-18 tyres is engaging our attention, and here again we shall write you as quickly as possible. Yours faithfully, For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.
