- 6 - HYDRAULIC DAMPERS - LeC.3331-3387-3398. The loads have remained consistant. The definate washer leak has been reduced front from .020 to .010; rear from .025 to .015, to give steadier riding at high speed. More load is required for uneven surfaced roads. Oil leaks are negligeable. FRONT CONTROL ARMS We found at the beginning of the test too much end play in the bottom bearing of the control bracket. This was takenup and has remained so during the mileage. It was therefore not due to wear having taken place during the run here. REAR AXLE LOP.GB.619-N.S.3729-35-G.L.650 (10 X 41 Ratio) The axle has been generally good for silence. There is an over run period 45 - 40 M.P.H. The oil leak from the housing of the pinion is very little as it has not been necessary to replenish the axle with oil. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT The output from the dynamo has been satisfactory. There has been no reoccurance of the red light fluttering at speed. Starter Motor - This has started the engine up with no sign of slipping, each morning during the mileage. NEW Type Lucas Headlamps - The beam of light using 48 Watt bulbs gives a satisfactory condition for speed at night. The two dipping lights give a broad light with no inconvenience to oncoming drivers. One headlamp bulb failed and one positive wire came adrift during the last few miles. The Butler Stop Lamp Switch - Has not given any trouble in its new position. Weight of car 1 T. 11 C. 1 Q. 9lbs Average Petrol Consumption 14.69 M.P.G. " Oil " 1000.0 M.P.G.
