(1). Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} in opening the proceedings said that the meeting had been called in order to secure closer relationship between the Works and Repair Departments and Depots, with a view to giving speedier attention to any defect which was causing trouble to customers. He announced that he proposed to hold these meetings quarterly.

(2) Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said he felt that Repair Departments and Depots might assume a bigger responsibility in overcoming troubles than they do at present, and especially he hoped they could evolve ideas as to how to deal with the chronic troubles on past models.

He said he felt that the Quarterly Return now prepared at W. from information supplied by Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}, Br, and Paris, was not prompt enough in bringing any trouble to his notice and that of Experimental and Production Departments, and that in many cases it was better to have more information than merely the total number of each complaint.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said he would be pleased if any Depot would state openly and fearlessly that a car is bad and should not have been delivered, or that they found defective work on it.

After some discussion of various troubles, Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} ruled that details should be dropped, and that the meeting should decide on three or four worst features in the case of Phantom III, 25/30 H.P. and Bentley cars.
