Y3498 FERRANTI LTD. HOLLINWOOD, LANCASHIRE. Radio/G.R. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. 15th July, 1927. Dear Sirs, FERRANTI ELECTRICAL MEASURING INSTRUMENTS. Within the next week or two we shall be placing on the market a very fine range of moving coil electrical instruments and whilst these have been made available mainly for radio purposes we believe that you may be interested in them from the point of view of dashboard instruments. The instruments can be supplied as ammeters or voltmeters with central zeros if necessary, and are the ideal instruments for inclusion in the equipment of the highest class of car. Our descriptive list is not yet quite available but a general idea of the instruments will be obtained from the attached illustration sheet, their approximate diameter being 2¼". The instruments are beautifully made throughout, have a guaranteed accuracy of 1% and are we believe superior to all other similar instruments. The voltmeters for example can be supplied giving a full scale reading for only 5 milliamps, whilst in the case of a slightly more expensive model which will be available soon the consumption is only 1 milliamp. A special feature is a fuse with which each instrument is fitted to prevent its being damaged by excessive overloads and these fuses are easily replaceable from the front of the instrument and a spare fuse is provided with each instrument. Additional fuses are furnished at the price of 6d. each. The prices are low, we think exceptionally so for instruments of such excellence, all single range types being | ||
