COPY - 2 - Weston Model 301. No.456151 Elliott Type "H.R." No.146020 TEMPERATURE TEST. The effect of change in temperature of the Instruments and surrounding air was made as in the previous test, by inserting a lamp in the box, under the instruments, and warming them up to 130° F.{Mr Friese} The change in reading was:- Weston 2½% Elliott 1% STRAY FIELD TEST:- The Instruments were tested for change of reading when subjected to an external field of 10 cgs units in various directions in relation to the instrument cases. In the position giving maximum error, the differences were:- Weston 4% Elliott 1.8% 26.5.27 | ||
