X8770 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C.P. Dept. C.A.P. C.F. C.G. BY8/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 21. 11. 24. I am handing you herewith copy of BY5/H.21.11.24. which outlines clearly how "V" and "W" Series are to be respectively produced. When issuing instructions to the Works for the two series in question, which should be ordered, simultaneously a copy of such instructions should be sent to RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}, who will build up three chassis to "V" Series and also three chassis to "W" Series instructions. The copy of the memos you supply to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} will be a copy of your ordinary memo to the Order Office issuing up 100 and 200 sets of material. You could alter one of the copies of the instructions you send to the Order Office so that instead of reading "100" and "200", respectively, they will read "three" sets each. It is most important that instructions covering the above should be issued without delay. I would remind the D.O. Depts that as what they have previously ordered for "V" Series is in certain cases correct for "W", so far as specification is concerned, they need only get back their copies of this memo and alter "V" to "W", and 100 sets to 200, and the matter will be in-order.
