Unsatisfactory placement of the thermometer on the dashboard for various steering types.

With reference to the latest suggestion of fixing the thermometer on to the dash board, we do not consider that this will be very satisfactory. On a Car where A, B or C type steering is used and the usual scuttle and instrument board, it is practically impossible to see anything on the dash board. I feel certain that if we fix the thermometer to the dash board, we shall get any number of customers taking it off and putting it amongst the other instruments on the instrument board. If it is fitted in a low position on the dash board which is the only position even with the "D" type steering, where it could be seen, it will be liable to be kicked and broken. EH. | ||
