Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} ORIGINAL. D R9/G30/6/19. 3 3 JUL 1919 RECEIVED X.3440 RE LONGER WHEELBASE. With reference to longer wheelbase, it would appear that from behind the dash to the end of the frame should be made 2 metres 75 as suggested, by France to be in line with the French body makers. This would be in inches 108.25 instead of the 102" at present. I am still anxious it should be no longer than is necessary to meet coachbuilder's wishes.
