S/W. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X7380. re- Subframes. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}25/KW8.7.32. Arising out of your test of 61-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary}, we have already given instructions that the 40/50 h.p. chassis for Olympia and the Paris Salon need not necessarily have subframes. C. said that you hoped to arrive at a definite conclusion in a few days from the date of your report as to whether subframes were necessary at all in future. Can we yet have your decision, please, as we are being a little inconsistent at the moment in not supplying subframes for the Show cars but supplying subframes for customers' cars for completion simultaneously.
