Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/R.12.5.38. P.22. MAY 14 The history of the attached standardisation sheet which we should like to go forward is as follows:- The Vokes Filter Element originally cost 9/6d. We were unable to get them to reduce their price until they realised that we were about to standardise the Burges Air Filter Element @ 5/1d. They then brought their price down to 5/9d. On the principle that we should like to deal with the people who gave us an honest price in the first place, we should like to go to the Burges Element which is now standardised on all our cars. We also think that we may get a further price reduction. Agreed Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
