Description: MODIFIED THROTTLE SPRING ANCHORAGE.

Production Position and Comments:
Cost of Tools £ 3.10.0d.
Modified throttle spring anchorage may be introduced at 1st. chassis in 'M' series (due to test 2.7.38.) but will involve scrap and correction of existing parts already instructed for 'M' series to a total value of £5.9.0d.
Inlet pipes EB.2630 are already drilled for present type throttle spring bracket up to 78 in 'M' and require plugging, therefore, it will not be possible to remove the cast boss on these induction pipes which may evoke criticism on the score of appearance.
The Factory cost of future chassis will not be affected by the new design, but new tools costing £3.10.0d. are required. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}
Authorisation to Proceed.
Introduce on the 1st Chassis in M Series.
