Rolls Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Sirs, For Attention of Mr. Robotham. With reference to the complete front and rear axle assembly which you have sent us, we should be very pleased indeed if you could send us per return a complete General Arrangement of front axle and rear axle. We have examined the job thoroughly, and we can see our way to make a first class job in every way, but we should like your permission to modify the front axle beam, and the rear axle tubes, but kindly understand if we do so they could not be used afterwards for your own standard braking purposes. However as you will have the braking system on the car when it is finished, we sincerely trust you will agree to this, as you can rest assured that we want to make the very best possible GIRLING BRAKING System on this job. Your kind attention to this would be much appreciated. Many thanks. Yours faithfully, for NEW HUDSON LTD., WORKS MANAGER. | ||
