Query regarding the potential damage to an ammeter from being overloaded by two Smith cigar lighters.

The point at issue is that in the event of a car having two Smith cigar lighters fitted the current consumed is roughly 30 amperes for 20 seconds. If both lighters happened to be used at the same time, is there any possibility of the ammeter being damaged. J.L.E. | ||
