We are sending into the stores one oil gauge, petrol gauge, clock and speedometer for return to Messrs.Smiths. We require the dials on these instruments to be converted exactly the same as the dials on the second set of these instruments brought up to our works today by their Mr.Manwaring. Particular attention should be drawn to the fact that the oil gauge and speedometer both failed on test and in the case of the latter we had to make a temporary repair.
