With regard to the wire grid on the radiator of 34-EX and your comments, we realised of course from the first when we saw it at the Works that this was not going to be a cure for our criticism, and that the only cure is to put the struts and cross bar at the back of the matrix and not in front. It was however felt by us that these were less noticeable with the wire mesh in front than without, and that as purely a temporary measure anything which tended to make the struts less noticeable would be acceptable. I think we can usefully say that the appearance is a little better with the wire mesh, but obviously it is a poor substitute for the real thing. We shall therefore naturally welcome the introduction of the struts at the back at the earliest convenient opportunity. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} [Handwritten signature: Kwb] | ||
