With reference to your attached memorandum C721/C126/12 concerning the wells for the feet of the rear passengers on the above chassis, we find that the wells were not arranged for the use of thick matting. If the matting be removed I think you will find that there is room for quite large feet, although it is possible that a large footed person wearing heavy sporting boots might still have some difficulty.

Mr Spinney's original scheme for a rectangular well (which you did not care for) allowed slightly more room as shown in the accompanying blue prints, but in this case also no matting was allowed for.

I do not think anything can be done unless this portion is re-designed, in which case the sloping board could
