RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} [crossed out] c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} XG9910 Rg{Mr Rowledge}/SFP1/W26. 2. 24 FOUR WHEEL BRAKES. As there is a great amount of friction experienced in the balance gear as now fitted to the slow speed servo scheme of brakes, we are sending you herewith blue print of DES.66, which shows a scheme of balancing between the front and rear brake by means of a link on the main lever on the servo. This scheme necessitates the making of a new lever on the servo, the plates forming the link, and the pull and push rods. The existing bevel balance should be taken out for this scheme. All the necessary dimensions are shown on the drawing, so will you please have the bits made as quickly as possible. Rg{Mr Rowledge}/SFP. | ||
