Dear Sirs, The delay in acknowledging your order 15377 has been occasioned by the fact that the five 6.00-19 Fort covers needed to be prepared in accordance with your letter ref: Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 31/KW. We have pleasure in confirming, however, that these were completed yesterday and on the instructions of Mr. Wyman, and after contact with your Shipping Department, are today being addressed to St. {Capt. P. R. Strong} Pancras Station, from where we understand that Messrs. Hernu Peron & Stockwell will arrange their transport to Mr. Hancock at Chatearoux. Duplicate copies of our packing slips sent to that firm are enclosed, and we confirm having addressed to you last night our invoice FD. {Frank Dodd - Bodies} 3658. In this latter connection we would mention that whilst your season's quota for ordinary experimental tyres has been completed, the invoice has been priced at Equipment list less 50%, as we are prepared to regard the work carried out on the covers as equivalent to a change in tread pattern, for which your contract provides that we shall supply up to four sets at experimental rates.
