Dear Sirs,
For attention of Mr. E.Milner.

We attach herewith a complete List of Lubricators which we recommend for R-R chassis and where they should be used. There are one or two places where we wish to retain the oil lubrication.

Attached is also a rough sketch of Lubricators we wish to use for the rollers at the rear end of the cantilever springs.

We have received the modified Nipples to suit our standard thread. We consider that these nipples are quite satisfactory as regards strength but we find that there is a tendency, when the pressure is put on the ball, for it to be forced down and make a joint so that the grease cannot pass the lubricator. This occurs chiefly when the lubricator is tried on the grease-gun by itself. It would not be so likely to occur when the grease pressure was on both sides of the ball. We recommend, however, that the lubricators are modified so that this cannot occur.

We are considering standardising these Lubricators on all our chassis. We should like to know from you what the difference in cost would be for sets of these lubricators and grease-guns if we standardised the 1/8" gas-thread instead of the present 5/16".
