FROM BENTON & STONE LTD., CONTINUED. DATE July 4th 1921. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. DERBY. No.3. We should be very glad to get a list from you stating the positions you consider the Connector Nipples should be fitted in, and also which pattern Connector Nipple should be used. This information we should be glad to have, as we have numerous people with Rolls-Royce Cars worrying us to send them sets to convert to this System of Greasing, but we are not keen on doing this until we have both correct information as regards sizes and patterns, and a really safe Connector Nipple, which will give no trouble in the fitting. As regards the further Nipples you require to complete the Chassis you are fitting up. These we hope to despatch to you about Wednesday next. We quite agree with your remarks as regards drilling a small hole, and this of course will necessitate a smaller ball and spring, and we are making some more Connector Nipples up embodying these features in the next lot we are sending along, and by so doing we hope to eliminate the possibility of any breakage in fitting. Yours faithfully, BENTON & STONE LTD. [Illegible signature] Director. | ||
