Transport Cars.

The question of taxing transport cars for next year has now arisen.

Normally there are six cars in the Transport Dept.. One of these is now on the regular service between Derby and Hucknall, which leaves 5 for the use of transport. To these 5 cars have now been addedd 30-G-7 and 25-G-6. If these 2 cars, which are experimental cars, are going to be left for a considerable period in the Transport Dept., it will not be necessary to licence all the normal transport cars.

I shall be glad to know to what extent we can rely upon 30-G-7 and 25-G-6 as definite transport cars, so that arrangements can be made for the storage or disposal of at least one of the regular transport cars?
