X.4430 To EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T24.4.24. X.4430 - GOSHAWK CONDENSERS. We have received from the shop the following condensers for temperature tests No.1576 made up with paraffin waxed white paper. Melting point of paraffin wax 140°F. {Mr Friese} No.1577 made up with paraffin waxed white paper. Melting point of paraffin wax 112°F. {Mr Friese} No.1600 made up with paraffin waxed white paper. Melting point of paraffin wax 125°F. {Mr Friese} The paper used in making up the above three condensers is the white untreated paper received from U.S.A., and referred to in our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 6/T30.1.24, being probably identical with that used for the same purpose by the U.S.A. Bosch Company. None of the above three condensers has been baked. The paraffin wax has been specially obtained from the British Drug Houses, of pure quality and melting points as described above. No.1590. made up with varnished paper, using ordinary commercial paraffin wax. It has not been baked. No.1609 made up with varnished paper and a mixture of paraffin wax and resin has been used, after which the condenser has been baked. E.F.C. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
