Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}8.11.38.

We wish to send away some rings of AC.9 material, from which can be made the bearing shown on the attached drawing.

A rough finished Bentley main bearing might be suitable for instance.

Sufficient material should be available to produce 50 bearings, and to save time we would be obliged if you could hand this material when ready to the Central Stores, and let Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} know, so that arrangements can be made for despatch to America.
