Rolls-Royce Ltd. Stand 41. Olympia. London. W.14. Oct. 17th. 1932. [Stamp] RECEIVED 18 OCT 1932 BY W.S For the attention of the Technical and Purchasing Departments. Dear Sirs, At Stand 260 Gallery we are showing a range of the new BURMAN-DOUGLAS STEERING GEARS, which we are confident will interest you. Although a very recent introduction, it has commanded wide-spread interest by reason of its many new features, and from the point of view of safety, efficiency, and - an important points nowadays - cheapness, it is superior to any other proprietary steering gear on the market. The gear has been exhaustively tested, and will be standardised for 1933 on the cars produced by several famous factories. As you will be shortly considering your 1934 programme, we should like to discuss the question of steering gears with you, and shall be glad to make an appointment to suit your convenience, when we are confident we can offer you an attractive proposition. In the meantime, we enclose a copy of a booklet, which will be of interest to your technical staff, and shall be glad to forward further copies on request. Yours faithfully, BURMAN & SONS, LTD. S.S. Burman. [Handwritten Annotation] Answer & say we are not interested.
