PHANTOM STEERING. 48430

Herewith we send N. sch. 2431. which is the design of the steering modifications referred to in R5/M14727, including a longer rocker arm with greater area on the nut threads, and a shorter pendulum lever.

It will be seen that a new steering box is called for. We endeavoured to use the one instructed for the previous experiment but found that it was impossible.
