F.R. Banks, Esq.,
The Ethyl Export Corporation,
Thames House,
Millbank,
London, S.W.1.

Dear Banks,

We are struggling to get an exhaust system which will stand up to Ethyl without corroding, and at the same time will not be very costly. At the present time we have to use Staybrite.

Grylls tells us from his recent trip to America that they have some lead treatment for the inside of these pipes which is very effective. I shall be very grateful to you for any information you can give me on this subject.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
