Lucas Engine Starter. You may already know of these but I thought I would inform you I saw one to-day on a Daimler. The Starter is Electrical, 12 volts, and is fitted in the chassis near the gear box, on near side of centre line of chassis. The flywheel has teeth on the rim and the Starter is geared to this. It is put into operation by pulling a lever on the footboards. O.{Mr Oldham} [Handwritten Annotations]: X543, 8602, X 1105, S-W, W.M. [Stamped Text]: F.R., RECEIVED JAN. 20 1914, RECEIVED.
